Wow, you really have no concept of ecology. Humans are WAY WAY overpopulated, and stripping the earth of resources. Soon we WILL be extinct if we don't drastically limit our reproduction. Every day we consume resources that took hundreds of years to create. The sun only provides a certain amout of energy to the Earth each day, and we are consuming much more than that each day.
