That's pretty much the worst thing you can do. Starving yourself of calories a day before you take in a sh*tload extra won't compensate. Basically your body sees how much calories your taking in (though it's more of a long term thing) and if your at starving levels (1066 calories for someone weighing at 240 is starving levels) it will store a lot of your extra calories as fat. If your planning to eat more than you usually do just don't go overboard. At 240 you should be able to take in 2800 calories no problem, that's your usual BMR. Don't starve, just hit the cardio for an extra 15 mins the next couple days and your all good.
