Going shopping - Toronto bros advice please

Well there seem to be about 158 guys from Toronto on here unlike those other boards, so a bit of advice guys.

I don't always like to order protein & needed supps by mail order - when I want something, I want it, and mail can be too slow. I live in a big city so I've gotten used to walking into a store and buying whatever I need.

Near where I live there are some nutrition stores but the prices are outrageous due to them trying to rip off all the university students.

Can anyone let me know some good stores for nutrition products that can be bought in bulk and not too pricey?

Please don't say GNC at the Eaton Centre.

I have heard before about a place on the Danforth and one around Yonge and Church, but I would like to know from others if you know of any good places.

if you want to travel to hamilton, there is a store called discount nutrition. they have by far the best prices. ex:
designer protein with zmax, 34.99
cell tech 69.99
prolab 600mg creatine 39.99
they also have the new designer protein bars and carry most brands.

No offence bro, but there must be 1,000 nutrition stores between where I live and Hamilton. Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, next stop Hamilton - who needs the hassle ... there are 500 nutrition stores here in town, I am not about to drive 2 hrs to get a jar of protein...

Just compared prices online. It does seem as if thegym.net is best for what I am looking for, basic whey protein. But it seems weird to order something from Newfoundland when there are all these stores and smokestacks here, it's really crazy some of this online ordering stuff when you think about it.

Then again, most retailers rip you, and the online guys (some of them) give much better prices.

I looked at proteinfactory, but the prices are not so good that it's worth the trouble, I'm sure that a 5lb jar of Prolab Simply Whey is just as good and it's actually about the same price as the highly touted protein factory stuff...

If youy order online within Canada it should take no more then 3-4 days to arrive. Ih you go up Yonge St. towards North York there's a great store called the creatine experts. They also have a mailing system which is quick and the offer c.o.d.

Hi Organon Cannon, I went ahead and ordered from thegym.net. Their prices are good and way better than you'd get in most stores, so I went ahead and paid a bit extra for "priority" delivery (probably take 3-4 days from nfld).

I really don't like how much extra crap they put in some of these whey products. So few supplement companies really cater to the serious athlete who can figure out how to add carbs to his diet in his own way rather than needing a bunch of cheap carbs shoved into a drink.

Anyway, I got some of the Prolab Simply Whey, it seemed like a good deal.
