I switch things up every now and then but usually some of the following:
Oats, rice, rice cakes, fruits, eggs, cottage cheese, quark.
 
before a workout i don't eat anything. it is assinine for anyone to think you need to fill the muscles with glycogen for weight training.

if i am doing super hard cardio where i know i will sweat a ton and i need electrolytes i will do melon 2 hours prior.
 
I train fasted early at 5 am, and just eat big postworkout. Preworkout nutrition isnt all that necessary unless its layer in the day, which obviously youd have meals in. If you train early you will have plenty of aminos in your bloodstream and plenty of glycogen in your muscles from the day before
