Girls with muscle !

Im new here, but stunning by far, big or small , wow, there is nothin more sexy to this boy than a very strong , very muscular woman who is not afraid to be just that !!!

You GO ladies, hats off to y'all :p

Its interesting that I came across this thread just now. I just had a big fight with my boyfriend over weight training and getting muscular. I love the way fitness competitors like Monica Brant and Mandy Blank and Shannon Meteraud look, and I showed him some pics. He got very upset and said that my interest in getting more muscular is "creepy" and "masculine." He prefers the soft skinnyfat look....

VL Chick, you are not alone!

The fitness look is definitely not the 'norm' as a standard of female beauty.

I've never said I was normal though! :D
But it gets difficult when it's a strain on your relationship & especially difficult if you are alone (no other lifter chick friends nearby). So far my boyfriend is cool so long as I don' t flex in his face & don't talk about it too much. But I've made it very clear that a muscular Gladi is a happy Gladi! :good:

I've found that a lot of people who aren't into the lifestyle find the obsessing that goes with it over food, sleep, working out, weighing, carbs, fats, bf%, waking up early, picking restaurants, etc, can be a real pain in the ass. But I've never had anyone complain about the way I look. Friends are always complimenting me, and and I catch guys checking me out. I guess for a lot of people they love the results, but you have to not obsess over the process in front of them. They either aren't interested, or feel guilty that they aren't doing the same thing. I don't talk about how I get results any more unless people ask. Then they can't shut me up.

Wyst

:lmao:

That is so me! He he...
& being a Group Exercise Instructor, I am asked questions all the time -particularly since I'm one of the FEW instructors who spreads those truths such as 'toning doesn't exist' & 'you're not doing strength training here.. this is muscular endurance training' - but at least I've started fore-warning people that they are going to have a hard time shutting me up once I get going!

Gladiola,
thanks for that great link. its good to know that I'm not the only person feelin the backlash.

Wyst,
I agree that if you talk about weights and bf% etc all the time people get annoyed and bored...but that's not the issue with my boyfriend. He might be intimidated by my knowledge of it and my dedication to it, but the main issue is definitely over his image ideals clashing with mine. This really sucks.
