Okay, heres my situation:

I was training for gym/water polo 6 times a week and I met this girl at the pools a while back, she seemed really friendly and was clearly into me. She gave me her details to speak on the comp.

So we'd been speaking and e-flirting quite frequently on the comp, and obviously would speak whenever we saw each other at the gym.

Then she gives me her number and a few weeks later I told her I'd call at a certain time to arrange to take her out properly. So I call, but there's no answer. So I sent a funny msg basically asking if she's no longer keen, blah blah blah.... She replied basically saying she is still keen, but is playing hard to get because otherwise its no fun. So I replied with something like 'haha, well I might call you in the next few days if you're lucky.' Anyway, you get the drift.

It's been a few weeks now and certain situations prevented me from calling, and I sensed that she was less interested when speaking to her at the pools, which was obviously expected after I didn't call.

Now, after I didn't call, she's not initiating conversations on the comp anymore, and I've tried to speak to her but she's been ignoring me. But if she wanted to ignore me, why wouldn't she just block me? Does she want me to THINK that she's ignoring me after I didn't call her or something? ... Seems a bit weird.

Anyway, obviously she thinks I'm no longer interested or else I would have called, but I was very busy with stuff at the time and just forgot about it. This girl was really fun to be around and to talk to before this, so I'd like to get back to where we were before, but obviously it's gonna be hard.

It'll be very awkward if I called now three weeks later, so what do you suggest??

Firstly, I agree that in theory your idea sounds good, but if I called now I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't call back just to shift the balance of power further in her favour. So I'm gonna have to adopt a similar strategy of teasing and making her laugh when I see her next, and then saying 'I have to go' or something while she's having fun.

If that goes well, then next time I'll tell her that I need her to call me later that night or something, and then I'll apply the 'I'm busy, I'll call back in a couple of hours (but really call back the next day)' strategy. This should shift the balance of power back in my favour like it was earlier.

If she tries to avoid me or is unfriendly or does something equally immature, then she can get fucked.


Secondly, I see you're a student of David Deangelo. DD's ideas work well and seem to work for me on most occasions (I was also using it in the early stages on this girl until I didn't get around to calling), but I find they only work on women who are confident within themselves... If you try it on a girl who has low self-esteem, she'll think you are arrogant and be turned off by it.

Well the thing I've found with younger girls in particular, is that unless they are sluts, drunk, or at a party, about 70% of them like to play these sort of 'hard to get' games from the start.
