gift ideas for a flexin' femme...

Gals,
Give me your ideas for a cool gift you would give to someone who's main interests are training/fitness... doesn't like the mags...already seems to 'have everything'?

Not knowing her really well on a personal level outside the gym...not familiar w/ her tastes.

Gift Certificates (for sportswear, clothes, supps, etc) seem kinda impersonal... any suggestions?

What is something that you would like to receive?

I would like a 500 count bottle of Winstrol-v by upjohn, with a nice ribbon around it. But i'm that kind of girl ;)

Or you might get her some nice Wraps, like knee wraps, i would love some of those, or wrist wraps! Get her some wrist wraps, those are great, get her the good powerliftiing kind that stretch out real far, or or get her some tops to work out in, I could use some new tops, or socks, I could use some new socks :) Or get her a computer so she can get on here and learn all kinds of stuff. I could go on......

I think in Muscle mag they have some jewelry advertised....shaped like dumbells, etc. There is a website for it also....damn.....cant remember the add. They had a really nice gold dumbell bellybutton ring---for $120---- was a little steep for me--but might ask for it for my bday. The silver ones were a lot cheaper. You could also maybe buy her a tanning package, or nice tanning products--if its her thing.

Wow- gift bag w/ bars, supps, wraps, all great responses!

A power rack might be touch much for her just now... love the gym oriented jewelry ... might not be able to afford that one just yet...
incline bench clocks..sounds unique- where are those available- online or mag?

Spat- the scrapbook is a super idea... this gal has made some major physique changes in the last 6 months... and she has before pics... the after pic photoshoot would be perfect. Pics really 'dial in' the progress achieved.

Thanks for all the super ideas! :D

hey, if you find out where you can get that dumbell bellybutton ring...please pm me and let me know. money is never a problem for me when i'm shopping for myself (guess thats why i'm in debt! :p )

maybe a couple sessions with a really good trainer (or if she's getting ready for a show, a choreographer or nutritionist or someone who can help her fine tune things)?

or you could go the other root, sports massage, facial, manicure etc... i find the more time i spend working on the physique, the less and less time i actually spend for me... (the only reason i got my most recent hair cut is because my hairdresser actually saw me on the street and shamed me into it hehe...)

...actually, that was me (tee.. hee...)

3V- I was thinking that one, but she views them the same way I do:
1. gals too skinny/lack of any real muscle on something called 'Musclemag'
2.same regurgitated info
3. overloaded w/ supp ads & claims, etc...

One problem I've had with getting a neat gift for someone is... when I get it home I end up liking it so much I want to keep it myself!

Nitro- if you're out there, any info on the clock?

Always the good ol' GNC Gift Certificate --- I got one from my bro for xmas. Or gift cert from an online supp company. You could package the gift cert wrapped around a tub of glutamine or something!

Nike makes some kickass organizational 'stuff' for all your gym needs. they have really cool gym bags but also lots of little 'travel' type bags and accessories so all your gym stuff, supps, etc. can stay tidy in one bag. Im a bit of an organizational freak, but I use a gym bag and then a bunch of little mesh nike travel bags, one for my shampoo, brush, perfume etc., one for my supps, one for clean stuff, one for dirty, etc. Also, check out their tech gear on their website: the PSA stuff (portable sport audio) TOTALLY changed my workout: realllly cute little mp3 players that are tiny enough to not interfere with your weight training. LOVE it! they look cool too.

More good ideas... thanks!
She has been thinking of trying glutamine... and she is an 'extreme organizer' too.
Those MP3s are awesome... don't know how I would get thru cardio without mine!
And of course, thinking about that '30+30' thread...:rolly:

Appreciate everyone's contributions! :D
