getting tested?

I've questioned some of my past behavior and it would make sense to get myself tested. I've seen a tiny bump develop on my shaft which could possibly be nothing, but it's in the back of my mind that it could be something. It's barely noticable but I seen it the other day and was like wtf, that was never there.

is it best to goto a walk in std clinic and do you have to pay or is it a free state service?

My past behavouir made it nesesscary to get tested. I was nervous as hell but luckly things were all good. LEt me clarify that my past behavour was scandalous at best. As for the cost, my insurance covered it...

Go see your Dr. and for something else and then ask him to take a look at your bump and go from there. You should get it checked out....could be HPV, but might just be a skin tag.

i didn't think testing was beneficial until I went to register fot the armed forces. They tell you they wil call you in a few weeks if you had aids or something. After the ASVAB test the navy called me..The guy paused and said we want you.. I thought he was going to tell me about aids. I was freaked, though I knew all my girls i had sex with were good, but the pause killed me.

I'm a girl, and I have to get an a vagina check up every year. I HATE IT and wouldn't go if I didn't have to. You probably don't want to go either. Check and see if you have a Planned Parenthood in your area. You can get a quick STD test and don't have to expose yourself if you don't want. When I didn't have insurance, they adjusted the fee so it was real inexpensive. Just a thought.

Bro be a man and just go to doctor.. I went last week was tested for everytyhing and fine .. great feeling..Sometimes you can just called them theyll send yuo the paperwork.. just go to Quest done in 5 mins.. So worth it for mind and body.. A lot of stds are easily treated but can lead to bad news if not.. also HPV NEEDS to be taken care of can become a nightmare

I got tested and this is what happens:

-they stick a metal qtip down your dick to check for Clymidia (I won't bother trying to spelling)
-same for gonherea (another botched spelling attempt)
-visually inspect you for warts, rash, etc. whatever
-blood test for HIV

I thought other than the HIV test, it was stupid. I think you would know if you had warts, the clap, etc.. puss and blood dripping out of your dick. Forget about it, my advice is still to get tested so you know for sure.

I had two years of mistakes that I'd like to erase. I cannot believe the crap I did sexually. I was going through a rough time and met up with a group of older women with money. Anyway, after all of that I met someone. I would never want to share any type of disease so I went to get tested.
Be a man. Go get tested from top to bottom. The waiting is hell but you will feel 100% relief and feel like you have a new lease on life. Just make sure you havent done anything "risky sexual" within the past 6 months. This will ensure the most accurate test results.
