Get Jacked up before you Pump

Just a reminder to people lifting, before you start the lift get yourself jacked up and heart beating quick and you'll feel the adrenaline pumpin! I remember i used to take deep breaths and would be real calm, then my lift would suck.

That is very bad advice.

Pumping yourself up is a serious cause of overtraining. It's important NOT to phyche yourself up or down. Messing with your endocrine system [in this instance adrenaline] is not a good thing.

Take Olympic lifters. They never pump themselves up. It isn't healthy.

Do it occasionally, at a meet or something.

I stay totally relaxed...till about 10-30 seconds before a set. I want to conserve as much energy as possible. Ever see someone squat 1,000 plus...they don't yell, scream, etc...till after they are done.

well bfold thats what i was getting at. Dont yell and scream when you lift, i thjink thats moronic. But about 15-30 sec before its good to get your blood rushing. After the lift calm yourself and let your body regenerate.
