Has anyone tried the recipe at ef for making water. Is it any good? Are the ingredients easy to obtain?

there are tons of recipes on the net. its all very straight-forward even with a minimal understanding of chemistry. the only rough part is obtaining the gamma butyrolactone because it is a "watched" substance. i wouldnt bother with making it unless you CANNOT get it. first you can screw it up and hurt yourself AND im sure the man isnt too nice when you get busted with a lab. not to mention, a judge might look at you funny if you try and explain that youre only making it for yourself....

Dude I believe gammabutrolactone (GBL) is a controlled substance. 1,4 BDO is currently "watched".

PIMP, you are WRONG, GBL is NOT controlled, i repeat, NOT. Its a watched chemical, meaning you have to have a license to purchase large quantities, but it in no way is illegal. Now some states my impose that analagous law on you, but thats a different story.

Are there still companys selling GBL for cleaning purposes etc? If so I'd be very interested in getting some, it's alot better than 1,4 IMO.

yes pimp, if you search hard enough there are some international places that sell 99.99 pure GBL

Actually guys when i first obtained my membership, here at EF, one of the platinum packages i was offered included a recipe for g and i was wondering if anyone had tried that.
