I love it when they push the boundaries. The mock Mtv awards performance..... Wow.

On a side note, they pretty much hit spot-on how the public treats celebrities as the most important thing on earth.

I was so so on that one. There were good parts, but her with her head blown off wasn't really all that funny or meaningful. Could have done the same message in a diffferent (more funny) way.

I was bummed out about the first episode too, my expectations for the show might just be to high now. I've been a huge fan for 10 years. Absolutely loved the first 3 seasons, would watch them back to back to back taped on VHS.

I didn't think it was funny at all. definitely pushed boundaries, definitely a good social commentary, but completely and totally skin crawlingly disturbing.

That's what made it good though. It's a complete slap in the face to the general mentality level of anyone who buys into "celebrity".

Nah, the funniest South Park ever IMO was "The Jeffersons" with the Michael Jackson spoof they did. Fucking hilarious, season 8 I think it was

yeah i didn't really like that episode
didn't even finish it...honestly the missing head was too disturbing and hardcore, south park is usually lighter material.
and the best episode is the xmas story with those evil critter thingies

There are only a few episodes that have stood the test of time and still make me laugh:

Super Spoiled Whore: Video Play Set (show the whole world what a slut you are!) where Mr. Slave and Paris Hilton have the whoreoff.

Scott Tennerman (sp?) Must Die where Cartman makes the chili out of Scott's parents

Ginger Kids where Cartman turns into neo-Hitler and decides to take out the non-gingers.

Butters being bi-curious. All of the kids killing themselves throughout the episode is hilarious.

not even close to the best episode ever.

the passion of the jew with mel gibson.

christmas critters episode.

when butters finds his dad in the homo whore house wacking off and the parents try and kill him.

when mrs. garrison is fucking that dude and they start the new religion and cartman travels in time with the otters.

there are a ton of great episodes. this season has been WEAK so far. the brittany episode was done all wrong.

hopefully tonight is better.
