Hey what do you guys think about this article.. does it make sense? It talks about fruit actually being benefitial for your muscle growth & fat loss

FRUIT 8 :worried:

its a good read bro
i think it makes sense
i eat fruit all the time cutting or bulking mostly apples, oranges and kiwis

Ridiculous. Fruit is healthy, and you should eat it, especially if you enjoy it. Bottom line -- watch your overall calories. BB'rs like to obsess about things like their liver glycogen levels, the grams of fructose:glucose in a pear vs. blueberry, etc. Those of us trying to gain muscle period should spend little time worrying about those details. For example, in their chart, they show cherries are good for "postworkout" b/c they've got 8 grams of glucose & 6 grams of fructose. Are you telling me that it makes a shit's bit of difference whether you ate a banana instead, which has 9 grams of glucose & 9 grams of fructose? Of course not. Bottom line -- eat fruit.

This is an article from Flex. REmember they need new stuff to print each month. So they dig into details on all sorts of crap that is largely irrelevant, and regurgitate it from time to time.

I love fruit, I think it's gotten a bad rap. I eat blueberries, strawberries and raspberries like they're going out of style.
