Frequency ...

Hi all.

I had a question for all you couples out there - married or in long-term relationships:

What's your view on the normal (is there such a thing?) frequency of sexual encounters with your mate. DrG and I have been together for 7 years (no itches here!) and we've been doing it every night since mid-December. Only 3 nights were missed 'cause we were just too sore. Then we discovered lube. Not even my period has stopped us. (Sorry if that's ucky to some - tough).

I love getting it so good, but am wondering if we're abnormal. If so - I'm all :freak:

Let me know,
MrsG

well my girl and i do it at least three times a day. but we've been intimate since december though....

Well, I have been married over 13 years. My wife and I work in demanding jobs and have kids. So, we are about 3-4 times a week. Usually Thur-Sun is open. I work out late, she works out early so the other days, training puts a damper on the sex. She needs to be asleep by 8:00 pm to wake up at 4:00 am (which is when I go to the gym. But when the time comes its all about quality!

agreed...

Quality, not quantity is key and BTW, we have 2 kids of our own (BOTH in DIAPERS) so MrsG and I know very, very, well what you're talking about.

DrG

PS: But we still do it like bunnies in heat....

Dialtone,

Actually, with 2 kids in diapers, only one of us is truly proud of the way we look. I'm doing my best, but haven't been to a gym in a bit. I suppose I look damn good for that fact, if DrG does say so...

But as for it being more than average, that's what I thought. Hey, in my book, there's nothing I'd rather be "above average" in!

Ha ha.

Yes, I do have sisters, but you wouldn't want the available one...

Abnormal? Probably! But it seems like it's a good thing. :)

For me, sometimes it's a few times a day, other times it's a few times a week. I'm more of a night person and he's more of a morning person...somehow we work it out though. We've been together 19 yrs. as of this Valentine's Day. :)

Happy Anniversary

a little early, but good for you.

Wow. That's a long time, and so young too. How old is Stromba? There's a 4 year gap between me and DrG in his favor, so I'll be fighting the aging thing loudly and with everything we can!

Do you guys have kids? Shit, that makes it hard for sex. Last night for example, our daughter ruined our first attempt. :bawling:

Just curious.

Thanks for the post.

Stromba just turned 39, I'll be 37 in May. We have an 11 y.o. Kids get easier as they get older. Two in diapers...a little tough on ya now, but when they're older it'll work in your favor, they'll keep eachother occupied.

As for fighting aging...I'm enjoying it and I seriously look forward to becoming old and grey with my husband. Right now I fight the grey hair, but I'll probably quit that when I'm in my 70's. Living in FL I see many couples who are still together after 50 years and I think that is one of the greatest joys in life...being with the person you love for LIFE, sharing all of the joys, pains, and just every day things together until the day you die. You can see the love and caring in elderly couples eyes that they have for eachother...it's one of the most precious gifts we can have...it's what seperates us humans from the other animals on this planet.

I like you a lot, too!!!:supercool

You definitely have the right idea. We want to grow old together, too, but in the meantime, I'll fight all the signs as best I can. I'll do the face lift thing if need be (fortunately, there's good genetics on my side) and I've been doing the hair thing since even before DrG met me:( Ah well. I always tease him about gumming one out of him one day! It may take awhile, but I'll keep those jaw muscles in shape! :p

One set of grandparents were in love til the day he died and it nearly broke her heart. As for the other set, he didn't live more than 3 months after she died. It's sad but beautiful in a way - that he loved her so much, he had nothing more to live for after she died. That's totally how I feel about DrG. I wouldn't want to live without him. I just hope that many many many years from now, I'll go first...

You call your looks and body fighting aging? I'd say you're kicking it's everloving ass and the fight is about to be called based on the mercy rule.

OK...you get karma from me for the rest of this year with that one! :rainbow:

Mercy...last night I arm wrestled for the first time ever (against a guy)...lost both times but put up a damn good fight and held him off from gettin me down for a decent amount of time. I don't think the guy expected it to be so close. I told Stromba that we'd have to practice...next time I wanna win! LOL
