For those who don't BELIEVE IN GOD....

if i have a sex change, i'd consider my penis my god.
in fact, thats what all the girls would say when i showed it to them... "MY GOD!!!"

Im thinking about naming my penis, ZOD, like in that superman movie where the three superpeople criminals banished from his home planet. Just so I can say to the ladies, like in the movie:

KNEEL BEFORE ZOD !!
Id like to do that sometime.

The whole of being is a considerable low-level design of the truth of consciousness. To believe in a God or even be religious would indicate a lack of acceptance of worthlessness in life. Worthlessness in living and accomplishing nothing except a better sense of self – and why gain that knowledge.

First thing you must define:

What is God?

i believe in a higher power and that we should take responsibility for our own actions, do no harm to others, love and respect thy neighbour

Where is this believe based besides you own inclinations?

How are your ethics grounded?
Why love and respect your neighbor?

You cannot love everyone equally.
Why respect somebody who is not worthy of respect.

If all beings thought this way, the world would have never evolved and higher life would have never existed.

Hence,
you would not be alive today if everyone believed in your ethics.

Its only through competition and conflict which improves life, creating higher life.

I believe in a world that is qualified by my senses and verified by non-contradictory logic. Unfortunately superstitious aparitions cannot be qualified by my senses, so I do not believe in any god.

It is your mind that understands the world and it is your mind which understands your sense perception. You use your mind to logically understand the world and verify.

What is the nature of your mind?
How did it come into being?
What happens after it passes away?
How does your mind relate to matter and existence?

What do you believe in? :artist:

just living your life by your own standards? haha :qt:

You can have morals and not believe in god. The 10 commandments are a good base for morals. Which is why they were invented in the first place. To help keep order in the world with no law enforcement.

Define "morals"
You defining them as personal beliefs. Yes, we all have personal beliefs.

Why are the "10 Commandments" a good base?

I agree they were invented by Moses to make base people, less promiscuious, sterner, etc... so that their tribe, nation, would be more powerful. But, they were for their tribe and not UNIVERSAL principles.

Ever hear of the argument between

Natural law

verses

Conventional law or man made law?
