There's quite a few guys at my gym who are using those Lynx grips. One of em let me and my buddy try them and they're f#@*n awesome. They make dumbbells feel like they're conected to your hands We just ordered some. here's the site www.lynxpt.com

First time ive ever seen or heard of those. They look kinda interesting, but do they work that well especially for like deadlifts?

Actually thanks, but it's not my product, and they feel nothing like a mousepads.

Really??? May I quote from the website you gave us, then?

1) "I have been a client of Dillon Barnard's, the founder of Lynx Grips, for over three years." - from a testimonial

2) Dillon Barnard - Founder/President/CEO - from the "Professional Team" page

3) "When we test-marketed Lynx to hundreds of members of a national fitness facility in the results were overwhelming." - from your own testimonial, "Dillon Barnard-Founder/Creator of Lynx"

Look, I'm not trying to be an ass, but just come here and be honest. Either that, or stop using the owner's name without his permission.

This kind of dishonesty pisses me off. Preying on innocent lifters and trying to pervert their attempts to strenghten their grip with shady marketing and fake testimonials.

So, are you Dillon Barnard and here to spam us or are you merely pretending to be him to spam us on his behalf?

You've gone about this all wrong mate.

If you had simlpy posted up that you had invented (and are marketing) this new lifting equipment and had put this link up for lifters who might be interested, were happy to answer any questions publicly on the thread and were generally being a good honest iron bro, then we might have been interested and the mods would have left the post be.

hm ... i know all you strong guys there say that you shouldnt use anything else than chalk (except straps e.g. for pulling), but dont you have sometimes the feeling that you cant grip the barbell quite right because it is too thin ? I especially notice that when doing bench presses. It simply feels better if something gives the bar a little bit more thickness. Dont laugh ... ive been using those rubber grips for bicycle handles that i did cut open, they cost nearly nothing and last forever. And they stay in the bar by themselves, so every now and then i leave them in the gym by accident. It isnt good for pulling movements - the bar is slightly too thick for a comfortable hook grip. But for pressing i think its excellent ...

cheers !!

Ah yes, and shame on that barnard guy ...

ha, busted!

Why do people like this think we are all morons over here? It is an insult to everyoneon this board to comehere and try to "fool" us over here.

Like musketeer said, if he would have came on here being honest about himself and the product it would have been a different story.

PLEASE..."Preying on the innocent lifters....perverting their minds."
I'm his cousin Deon. I'm not Dillon. I'm really sorry if I "insulted" anyone.
Tell you what Boardin087, nelmsjer, blut wump, musketeer, maks and djeclipse, I will send all of you a free pair, on me. See for yourselves, but don't judge Dillon. Dillon is the one that turned me on to this forum a year ago. He's a great guy, AND he has no idea I'm doing this or he would probably be pissed at me because he really respects this forum. If you six guys e-mail me your addresses I will send them off tomorrow.....Cool?

It doesn't matter how you're connected to the business, the fact is that you are connected and you came on here to advertise for your "cousin".

You made a post talking about how you found this great new product, how it was so good we all should try it.

But you failed to men your affiliation with the maker/seller of said product and by doing so you've given yourself a bad name in the eyes of many on this board.

It's ok, I like my calluses (sp?), I don't want wussy hands, I want hard tough manly hands, lol.

Seriously though, gloves or any type of padding for my grip I really can't stand. I do have a pair of gloves but I hardly use them at all, they still look new.

EDITED for dcbarnard, I was mistaken

All you had to do was come on here and be honest, say your cousin has this product that you think is good. Instead of trying to mislead us to thiking you are some new guy that found this amazing new product. leaving out the fact that your opinion is greatly bias.

I thik you may have a easier time selling these on BB'ln boards instead of this one. BB'ers are the ones that buy into "the latest fad" type products.

well, i appreciate the offer and will take u up on it. you have to understand that every week we get a very dishonest person trying to scam the forum with products. Id be happy to truthfully try the product and give u my opinion on it, i also go to a large university and will tell people about it if its in fact a good product...... but next time explain the whole situation and none of us are bad guys and many of us (not me) have businesses of thier own. so jsut be honest and im sure people can relate. email sent btw!

yeah and tell me how they feel to i wouldent mind buyin some maybe, mostly cuz my right hand hurts when i bench because the bar is kinda small and i crushed my hand a few years back punching a wall.

Was that for reps or just an all out single?

lol! It wasent like lifting weights i was just pissed off and instead of hitting someone i hit my wall like 10 times i think on the second punch it broke, but i was still mad so i kept punching and it hurt like hell.

hey dcbarnard, you're a dishonest bastard.

do i get a free pair now? haha, just kidding.

what's wrong with gloves? i don't see any reason that you need to have crusty calluses on your hands. i used to use gloves, but i was just too cheap to buy new ones when my last pair tore apart last year. not using them hasn't made me grow any faster or anything; my hands just hurt like a bitch when i do power shrugs and deads :p

id like a pair. I would be ideal to recieve them. I didn't call you a douche...yet. Plus i am a personal trainer. So i could tell all my clients that they are good (if they are). I also work at my major university's huge gym. I usually train 5 a day or so.

PLEASE PM ME AND I WILL GIVE THEM A REVIEW BASED ON THEIR MERRIT!
