-- great, thoughtful replies from everyone --
Perhaps food allergy is the issue....I'm allergic to everything in the air and mold...why not yeast too? But seriously....thanks BigEasy.
I didn't want to respond for awhile because I want this thread to go on...I think that in addition to my own 'obsession' I want to hear how others feel about eating.
Most people are not as extreme as anorexic/bulemic....but in order to stick to a diet that alters your view of food, alters your lifestyle, and other people's view of you, requires an INCREDIBLE level of discipline I never knew I had...maybe I've started to believe that my goal for excellence as viewed by my 'colleagues' outside of bb'ing (note what Sassy69 said) is narcissistic, self-involved and obsessive...
....reassurance and knowing other options for success is worth more than gold!!
Thanks...
if there is anyone else out there that has something to say about their food issues, I'd love to hear it!

P.S. like some of you mentioned here, food obsession can get dangerous...I fear this because all of my life everyone in my family (my mother's side) is so weight conscious (unsuccessfully) that I'm afraid I've taken on their baggage.
Like wavywoman, I spend quite a bit of time doing cardio (I took off yesterday after I realized I did 6 days in a row of 60 minute cardio!). What would I do without this board to keep me in check!?
