When I was in college, I tutored some hs students and I had one senior who, after listening to me say something about capital letters, said "how do I know which ones are capital letters?"

I stared, jaw dropped in utter disbelief for prob a couple minutes before I could even address that question. This kid was 18 and had been passed through to 12th grade!

Sooo pretty much people are just fvcking retarded this way and public education sucks.

And what I just posted is the essence of the problem. It's not the kids. Kids are kids and they need to be taught. The problem is the parent(s). They are the ones who need spanked. And not in the fun way either.
