First timer on anavar (woman)

Hey guys!

I just have a couple questions and concerns about my anavar cycle I'm on.
First I'm a 27 year old female, 5'5" tall and about 130lbs. I'm on day 16 taking 10mg a day around noon. I read I should try and split them but I can't as its in a capsule form.

I don't see any changes in my body other than I'm more moody and my face is a little more broken out than normal.

I'm not the type to do straight weight routines as I get bored very fast. So I stick to high intensity workouts. I workout 5-6 days a week and 4-5 days I go twice (morning cardio and training in the evening). My diet is good too so I don't think I need to post what I eat.

I'm contemplating upping my dose to 20 so I can split the dose but am unsure due to all the horror stories I've read regarding negative and potentially permanent side effects.

I plan on taking var for another 4 weeks.

Should I try to up the dose or be patient and see if I notice any changes in my body comp?

You're in the mid-range dosage for women, so you might just now be arriving at the point where you'll notice serious results. Or it could be that your Anavar is underdosed. If you're really worried about side effects, take it for another 3-7 days and see what happens; or you could up your dosage to 15mg to 20mg (I recommend the former right now).

I actually just trained legs last night and I've made super gains. I was seated pressing 90lbs a week ago and maxed at 170 last night.
Leg extension 40 now 80lbs, curls 60 now 100lbs.
 
Sounds like ur good to go

I recommend not upping dose unless ya want sides that could be permanent

That's awesome when you finally see the gains and feel what you have invested in working. Kinda keeps motivation pouring in.

I know this is old now but for future reference var isn't much to be scared of good to see your cautious though my wife routinely takes 12.5 mg's twice a day about 10 hrs apart and she does fine I know 3 other women who do the same if you start to verilize var is out within hours. Just don't stack I don't really see a need for 2 androgens for a female what we're your results?
 
if your gal is mass then only workout 3-4 days a week. you grow when recovering and eating AFTER good workout. overtraining only hurts. more time in gym doesnt necessarily mean more gains.
 
I just wanted to share my experience with anavar but it will be different for everyone I guess. I took 40mg a day for 8 weeks.Why did I take so much well I was under pressure for comps and also advised incorrectly by a coach but regardless I saw great results only side affect was not getting my period but it came back once I stopped. If I had to do a cycle a gain I would probably take 10mg morning and 10mg evening. Also your muscles need rest to grow I think 3-4 days cardio is more than enough and if your not competing 5 days weights.I got my gains from going heavier gradually. My strength was amazing. Just be careful of the pressure you put on your joints so take joint supplements as well.:)
 
Yeah, 40mg per day is a little much for a woman. The 10mg/10mg in the morning/evening sounds like a good plan for next time. Good to hear that everything is back to normal after your cycle.
