first time starting gear with high bodyfat %

I was just wondering what you guys think if starting out on gear with high body fat % is a good idea or not im currently 25%. Ive been lifting for over 5 yrs now but never used gear want to do it for the first time. im happy with the way i look but want to get bigger and stronger i dont really care about definition and all that. im that big athletic guy you always see i wrestled in heavyweight divisions and a football lineman. I always lift heavy and eat lots. I never really weigh myself lol because everything i do doesnt revolve around a scale only when i go to the doc or something.my first cycle i wanna do sust and d-bol. ive had my blood work done and a physical im all good to go doc says im healthy.so anyway enough rambling just wondering if you have ever heard of this or recommend it? I really need some input because i cant find anyone who has done this plus everyone i see is in the teens with bodyfat or single digits. much info would be appreciated.

sorry i didnt post my stats. if it helps

1 - Age:25
2 - Lifting History:6 yrs
3 - Height:6'2
4 - Weight:290
5 - Estimated BF% 25%
6 - Diet:I eat six times a day lots of meats and eggs, chicken breast, fish and myoplex shakes my diet is sometimes limited due to where i am
7 - Goals:mass and strength
8 - Proposed cycle: 750 mg sus split m/w/f 8weeks and dbol 30mg 6 weeks for pct i have hcg, clomid, nolva, liquidex, liquiclom, liquinolva, dhea, AIFM sorry it seems like alot for pct lol but im new to it want to keep my gains just paranoid me lol

diet looks good as youve written it but do you eat lots of shit too? burgers pizzas etc? 25% b/f is fckin high! unless youve over estimated. can you post pics? not sure about gains really, depends how your muscles showing at the moment, you might end up putting on mor fat and just getting bigger. but if you dont mind that?
and that is a lot for pct i dont think you'll need that much, might just be waisted money.

I disagree I dont see anything wrong with running gear at a high bf% as long as the doc says your healthy heart, liver, kidneys etc... and you dont mind how you look and your goals are to gain strength and nothing else go for it.. based off the diet you described i dont see how you could have such a high bf% but keep eating clean food and you might even drop a few % on the cycle. just do your self a favor and make sure you research every end of the cycle you choose before you start...

Not a problem. Most on here favour the "body builder" look and frown on anyone with a bit of insulation. Steroids do improve nutrient partitioning, though, and you might find that you undergo some recompositioning during your cycle unless you make a big effort not to by eating extra large.

Rather than injecting M/W/F and then taking two days off, you might consider a simple every-two-days (E2D) dosing and ignore the days of the week. I guess you probably have 250mg amps, though, and that would cause you either to have to mess around or increase your effective weekly dose.

One thing to watch out for while carrying a lot of fat is that you're more likely to suffer with oestrogen and I notice that you don't have letro in your arsenal. You might well be perfectly fine with AIFM but it's worth having letro on hand.

great advice, K.

you too blut wump

I ran Sus/Dbol for my first cycle and I was higher bf myself. My blood pressure went through the roof and if I cut myself shaving it would bleed for like, an hour. If I could do it again I'd have done a 30 day crash diet on cocaine to lose some fat first. lol If I were you I'd try to maintain the same weight or drop a few lbs while on a test/anavar stack. If you drink lots of water, do a lot of cardio, and have good pct you should do ok. IMNSHO opinion thick skinned guys should avoid dbol cuz it makes them look even fatter. Just remember that the bigger your waist is, the smaller your back and chest will appear and vice versa. Treadmill and ab exercises should be a huge part of your routine and if you drink soda-you need to stop. I'm not discrediting the other guy's suggestions at all-but I think fat guys like us have different needs than lower bf bb's.

thanks guys actually 25% is actually my BMI but this is how my job measures bodyfat.yes the job i have measures bodyfat. i dont know how accurate BMI is to bodyfat % but they tell me its pretty accurate. i dont know

BMI is extremely inaccurate for anyone carrying a signfigant amount of muscle mass. It works reasonable well for people who do no resistance training.

thanks cracker i was debating running the d-bol just because of water retention but want the strength gains from it. but i recently added 45 min of cardio to my routine eod.so far i enjoy it .

BMI is not even vaguely accurate for anyone carrying more muscle than the typical couch potato. It doesn't discriminate in any way between muscle and fat and assumes that everyone has the same bone-density and thickness. It's complete fairy-tale nonsense.

One typical example is to plug Arnie in when he last won the O. He was 242 at 6'. The BMI would class him as obese at 32.8.

my bmi is around 26 and b/f is around 14% i'm 5'11" 200pounds so you could be much lower. try post some pics and see if anyone can estimate.

16% your straight bro!!!!!!!!!

bulk up clean, drink alot of water and workout like a mofo.

dont let people get you down

rememeber your bulking up for muscle not fat

hahaa on the crash diet on cocaine lol

Yeah BMI is total bullshit. By it, I have been obese for a long time lol. Calipers are not the best, but if you use the same system of measurement every time, you can see what % composition changes you are making. Dunking is the best way to get an accurate bf%.

BMI is a joke, but remember he said he's 6'2'' , 290. At 25% BF, that would make his LBM around 217lbs approx. That is a pretty stacked amount of muscle. if he was less bodyfat than 25, he would definately be a strong mofo.

25% bodyfat and your goal is mass? You need a cutting cycle bro what good is being big if people look at you like a fat mess?

..actually 25% is actually my BMI...

Oh, then that changes everything...

I had no idea how you could be so high BF with the diet you posted. So odds are youre far leaner than I interpretted. :jenscat

ill put in 2cents here. i started aas this year and have ran two cycles, looking to bulk on each but burn bf also. that was my intentions, nomatter how anyone says the shit worked, that was my goals.

so, i ate clean, ate alot of fucking protein ed, trained like a maniac, and after two short cycles, one being test e and anavar and other being test prop. i weigh the same but my total body composition has changed from moderatly overweight with nothing to show for muscle despite 2.5 years of lifting, to an athletic strong looking body.

started at 235 pounds, i weigh 235 pounds now after pct of second cycle and have much more muscle, so that tells me i burned alotta fucking fat. did cardio too.

just my two cents, the thing with adding muscle and muscle mass burns more fat is true imo. which is why i will continue.

i've also dropped 2 pants sizes, or rather from 40 to 36. and maintaining. aas helps in this department in the long run. even eating big as long as it's all healthy food.

drop bf to 12-13%, then you could consider a test cycle. not worth putting added stress to your body especially the heart. burn that blubber off first, you will feel better

Not sure what your BF is exactly but as others have said: as long as your healthy enough and your body can handle it (Blood pressure, liver etc.) Why not? I'm an older guy 39 who finds it harder to drop stubborn BF than I used to, I actually found that test and a relatively clean diet helped me either convert stubborn BF to muscle or the extra muscle mass I gained helped me burn the excess body fat. Maybe both, I'm not sure but I made significant progress. To get to where I want, in the end, it still comes down to diet and cardio for me. Work in progress.

Glad you asked the question. I'm in he same boat, deciding to bulk on a test only cycle(when i find some) while its still cold outside and then alter the diet and get lean by summer.
