Just wanted to give a quick shout from Chi-Town. You guys have a good board going on here.
I don't belong to a gym and do all of my lifting at home. I've been using free weights and I also train on a Nordic Track Ultralift. It's nothing compared to training in the gym but it gets the job done.
In college, I juiced. I'm 5'6 and weighed 215 back then. I'm back down to 175 now and just looking to stay at this size. I miss the mass though!
My question is this; How can I work my legs effectively without squatting? I know that's the best of all workouts but I just don't have access to a gym. I work 80-90 hours a week and I have two babies at home.
So far this is what I'm doing:
quads-
Lunges 3x8
leg extensions 3x8
Sissy squats 3x8
Hamstrings
leg curls 3x8
stiff legged deadlifts 3x8
calves
single legged raises 4x20
What do you guys/gals think of that workout?
thanks in advance for your feedback.
