First Cycle

I am a newbie on this site and am thinking about a cycle on gear.

I am 29 yo, 5'10", 190 lbs. and have been working out on and off for 10 years. I have been working out regularly for the past 8 months and have seen some good results, however, am thinking about trying a cycle.

I usually work out 5 days a week and also run about 3 miles 4 or 5 days a week. I sometimes play basketball or tennis.

I have been researching gear on this site for a few weeks, prior to this post.

I really am interested in muscle tone and fat burning (mainly abs). I eat fairly well and am currently taking creatine daily and 120 g of protein shakes daily.

Any suggestions for a first cycle?

First I applaud you for your post. Thats the best newbie post requesting information that I have seen in quite a while. Good job man.


As for suggestions. A straight Test only cycle is what I always suggest for first time guys. Its a great cycle to run period, and its really overall the safest way to see how your body reacts to being on gear in general. So my suggestsion is Test somewhere around 500mgs per week, probably split up into two injections of 250mgs each... one on say Monday and one on Thursday or something similar.

yea and for 10 weeks bro!!
 
Ten weeks of test E 500 mg a week on M and TH with .5mg ed liquidex, should be a good first cycle for you. Your diet and cardio will control the type of mass you gain.

I mainly run because of the feeling I get after. It is sort of a release type of feeling. It clears my head and probably helps me burn calories and fat. I have 3 primary goals with weight training:

1) Muscle tone / cutting.
2) Gain muscle and burn fat. I don't mind gaining weight, if it muscle.
3) Strength. For example, I would like to increase each major muscle group exercise be approximately 30 to 40 lbs. and each smaller muscle group by approximately 15 to 20 lbs.

These goals are easily obtainable if you train and diet correctly...run test 500mg per week and have PCT you will reach these goals easy
