First cycle anavar..and question about it..

Hi everyone:

I'm currently running my first cycle of var..however, I'm dieting and just simply trying to maintain lean body mass. My goal weight is 170 (5'8") and I'm taking 10 mg/day. My diet is great. Problem/issue is that my weight is not changing all that much (maybe two or three pounds every two weeks ), but my measurements are changing and my clothes are falling off of me. I'm taking in about 1500 calories/day. I didn't expect to gain any LBM, since I didn't think it was possible on such low calories...but it seems like I am. I can tell the difference in my quads, arms, shoulders, etc. Is this possible?

BTW...the tabs are 5mg of Denkall..they're peach oval shaped with a score in the center. I'm not having any side effects except for sex drive and a little water retention.

Yes it is possible that you are losing bodyfat and possibly putting on muscle. Or at least, while on a compromised cal intake, it is sparing muscle from being lost.

if you are losing bodyfat even in the absence of aas, your muscles will look different and almost bigger as you will have less covering them.

Keep us posted as to your progress. How many weeks are you into this?

In your post you can't figure out WHY your weight is not moving yet your seeing results. WHY do you put all your faith in a damn piece of two bit metal?!?!?! WHY must you judge success by what you weigh??

Toss the scale out the damn plane after you wack it with a hammer. IT IS OF NO USE.



We are spunky today, huh? Good answer though!!!
 
I'm actually about three weeks into it...I'm doing it with NYC (Is this alright? I've not heard anyone speak against using NYC with var.) I'm quite surprised at my results. I wasn't expecting it. However, I do think it's because I have less covering my muscles that are making them look bigger.

If a girl can't count of you for a straight answer who can she count on?!?!?!? GEESH! Well, if you can't tell her why the scale isn't dropping perhaps you could tell me how to get my biceps to quit growing - I KNOW you know the answer to that.

Artsy darlin' - He is right, get rid of the scale. I insist on torturing myself with it every morning. My weight is up 15# and my pants are falling off. It isn't so much that you are packing on muscle at an alarming rate but rather have more IM water, increased blood volume (I believe) and are becoming denser.
