Finally got a package snagged

After all these years my first one, it was just standard BB supplement no gear or ancillaries, The nosy twirps opened the package ,closed it back up then stuck a green sticker on the box that reads "ID address Recorded"
Does this mean my address is now flagged?

yeah, for the rest of that day. i wouldn't worry 2 seconds about it. but unless it was something like rodney st.cloud recieved. lol. then just simply get it sent to another addy. thats happened to a friend of mine in san diego 4 times. but thats what his dumbass gets for repeatedly getting stuff sent in from the big C. just keep em small.

Was it domestic or from overseas? This may sound stupid but by supps you mean creatine, whey? I would have no idea why they would open something from a suplement company.

Yes, you're flagged. BUT you still may get packages through since they don't inspect all packages for addresses to match the list. AND it may come through a different port and not get snagged.
But the bottom line is you have to use a new address to be sure of receiving your vitamins and minerals from overseas. Join the club.

Sounds like it. If you'd like I can call a friend of mine that works for customs and see exactly what they do with that ? He's a great guy and has helped me get LOTS of goodies in the past

I've received a customs letter in the past, and they didn't send the package like they did for you... After that, I can't say I ordered over seas again.... When you say your address is flagged, that doesn't mean they will open every box that is going to your address... I think it just means they recorded snagging it... If it happens again, that is strike 2... Not sure how many strikes they allow before they consider paying you a visit.... I knew a guy that got up to 3 notices, never had any visits, so it's a guessing game I guess...??

I had the same things happen to me with an order of accutane.....they just stuck that green stick on it and it only said "medication for personal use".....im not too worried about it really....but i sure hope it doesnt happen when i order some gear

I had a shipment confiscated one time. I got the US Department of Treasury Customs Division form letter. I've received packages from overseas since then many times. It sounds like they just did a random inspection or something.

My co-worker's wife is Japanese. Customs snagged a shipment of cookies from them. I'm not joking either. They confiscated a box of cookies.

Ok! This package was from our Sponsor Synthetek Industries shipped from Australia. There was no leakage ,nothing to assume it contained anything legal or illegal,Just a standard Package!

Does anyone here have any idea HOW LONG an address stays flagged? My home address got flagged back in January of this year and I am wondering if it might be safe again.

I got a package from a friend in Australia. The package had an orange tag with ID recorded on it. It's because he had to fill in his ID data when sending it to me. It didn't mean customs had opened and recorded mine.

I was about to say the same thing.
All Australian packages have ID recorded stickers on them, that get put on by Australia Post when the packages get sent.

All packages sent out of Australia have those stickers on them.

That is so if an Australian sends drugs to another country, and that country's customs catches them, then it can be tracked back to the sender as the Australian sender had to show photo ID when they sent the package.

Anyway, regarding Radar's package, that wouldn't have been opened by US customs at all, or anyone else for that matter and certainly his address wouldn't be flagged from it. ID Recorded stickers are standard procedure for packages out of Australia.
