Finalized my divorce this week

Everything basically worked out in my favor. I have legal and physical custody of my son. I pay no spousal support or child support and the only thing it cost me was $10 to get my debts and assets declaration notarized.

Indeed it is. My assets were all mine before marriage, so she had no claim to any of it. My cash flow is more than 10x what she makes, and she has no claim to any of it now.

And, the best part is she lost any and all rights towards our kid. I do not need to consult her for any decisions made in his life regarding school, healthcare, housing, etc.

still never figured that out...mom not wanting kid...makes no sense.
 
She came back and wanted him later after she had already abandoned him. By then it was too late. I wouldn't share and he tells me he doesn't want to visit her. She originally asked for spousal support and I refused it. Since I have my kid and hers it looked pretty bad for her and she gave in and settled for nothing.

Meh, she gets what she deserves. When she originally left she said it was her turn to be selfish and wanted to go out and have fun now that her older kids were grown up.

She said she had never been on her own and wanted a place of her own.

She ended up moving in with the first guy she met and now they are having problems too. She has a deadbeat kid, who is 23 years old, always in legal trouble and never has a job. He was one of the main problems we had. now he lounges around her new place and the new guy is sick of it as well. She told me in court that she expects to be out on the street pretty soon.

We split up on Thanksgiving day 2012. I started letting him spend 2 nights a week with her sometime around October 2013. I don't think I ever kept him from visiting her, but I wouldn't let him stay until she had a place with a room and a bed and toys for him.

I'd say it was at least 3-4 months after she left before she even started asking to see him.

I don't have any titty pics of the ex. I pretty much deleted every pic off the computer that was hers. There's still some with her and my kid only.

Congrats Woody, fuck that's crazy man...thank god you got custody. Good on you...I'm lucky I guess, I pay a lot of money but both my boys have both parents in their life.
