Fifty Fucking NINE

Let me tell guys -- training after 50 blows monkey balls. Back hurts. Knees hurt. Shoulders hurt. Even ankles hurt. Recovery is slower. Growth is next to impossible and heavy training is simply too taxing on the body. Steroid use must be very conservative. (I did a total of 600 mgs a week for 6 weeks -- first cycle in in years and I never did higher dosages in the past). No GH. No stims.

I'm not making excuses. There are people who have bigger handicaps than me. There was a guy at the show with ONE LEG. THAT, was inspiring.

I also don't want to be the "old guy" who bitches about how "it used to be." I'm just saying that the attitude in the post internet age (which seems recent to me but has been a part of a lot of guys lives their WHOLE life), is this belief that it's all about the drugs. Someone does a gram a week, gains 2 pounds of muscle and 5 pounds of water and gets congrats on his "progress."

I hate to be the "Ghost of the Past" but I'm tellin' ya...those kind of gains do not stay. What stays is solid muscle, hewn from lifting hard and lifting often.

I ain't no mass monster. But I do believe the reason I can hold on to what I have is more because of the all the drugs I DIDN'T use. And with the supplements available today, there's no reason for stupid dosages.

Hell, if a hardgainer old fuck like me can get away with 600 mgs and extra supplemntation (mostly GEAR) for 6 weeks , you guys who are 30 -35 should be able to make ASTOUNDING results.

It all depends on if you have the balls to do it.

Why no HGH in your HRT Nelson? I imagine it would really help all the aches and joints a lot.

For one thing, I don't respond well to it -- gives me low blood sugar. Also, cancer runs in my family and I think the propensity for GH to exasperate cancer cells is underplayed. I just don't think it's worth the risk. Besides, squatting releases GH.
: )

Thanks Nelson. I posted a couple pics in my thread for my 50th B'day. I am currently on my first real AAS cycle and feeling GREAT at 500 mg a week. Just started a little Anavar finisher and after 3 days I was already feeling tighter. I feel like I have the "alpha male" thing on call, but it isn't overwhealming my life. I'm still chill in my hectic job, and my humor is better than ever. Thanx for setting such a great example of where I can be in 10 years.

True. Dennis Newman said he had a cancer gene and the HGH triggered it off, that's how ended-up with leukemia.

GH is good for pros while they're "off" to maintain size. I think dollar for dollar, steroids put on much more muscle. And "GH gut" is a very real thing. You see guys 280 and ripped and they can't suck their stomachs in. Fuck that. Women don't dig that shit.

LOL! I agree, i doubt i'll ever use HGH either, Besides going on 62 "If it ain't broke-don't fix it".

I'd love to do HGH but only at a low dose - something in the 2-3iu range. But the shit is expensive and so frequently counterfeitted that I'm wary of starting off with it.

Nelson; is this because of the extreme high doses that some of these guys run?

Or can this happen with any dose?

I've read around on this and insulin seems to b the culprit some point to for the distended look. The insulin abuse over time cause visceral fat build up behind the abdominal wall.

Just throwing it out there I've never used gh or plan to. But I think we all agree that distended look is awful m

It's all dose dependent and insulin is also a contributing factor in the big guts.

And yes, GH is often conterfeited(substituted) with HCG.

I guess super low doses would be the way to go but I have to question how much it'd really do. I still think at the end of the year I'd rather spend that money on Primo and supps.
