I have started using ultimate nutritions whey protein for the last week now. I find it mixes horribly not as easy as the EAS. What I would like to know is if u guys have made gains from this i find the powder is denser than the EAS powder and it is not very sweet.

Do you guys think that ultimate nutrition's powder is good, or even better than the EAS that I am also using.

Bro, as long as your whey protein comes from a reliable company then it's likely just as good quality as any other...just decide whether you want concentrate, isolate or a mixture. After quality comes ease of mixing and taste. You need to find one that tastes good to you and mixes easy enough for you. Most all will mix OK in a blender, but only some mix well in a shaker and even less mix well with a spoon. Obviously you're not happy with Ultimate's ease of mixing, but I wouldn't toss it. Finish it off then try another brand like Optimum Nutrition, HDT, Sports One, etc. (all good deals).

Also, calculate how much protein you're getting in ratio to the scoop size. It should be a fairly high percentage (at least 75%), otherwise there's too much filler.

Personally, I currently use Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey. I just look for the best deals at DPSnutrition and buy 5-10lbs at a time.
