Maybe this could be a Sticky.

What are your favorite television series of all time? They can include shows that are still in production as well as old classics.

Some of mine are (alphabetically)...
Absolutely Fabulous
The Addams Family
Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Amazing Stories
Batman (1960s live action version)
The Benny Hill Show
Bewitched
The Bob Newhart Show (1970s version)
The Carol Burnett Show
Concentration
The Cosby Show
The Dating Game
The Dick Van Dyke Show
ER (moreso the earlier years)
Family Feud
Gimme a Break!
The Golden Girls
Heroes
I Love Lucy
The Incredible Hulk
The Jetsons
Law & Order
Leave It to Beaver
Lost in Space
MacGyver
The Mary Tyler Moore Show
Monty Python's Flying Circus
The Newlywed Game
The Odd Couple
The Price Is Right
Queer as Folk
The Simpsons
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Seinfeld
The Six Million Dollar Man
St Elsewhere
The Twilight Zone (original version)
Wheel of Fortune
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
Will & Grace
The Wonder Years

I'm sure I'm missing a few, but it's a good start.

A list that long that goes that far back and you miss M*A*S*H? You've got St. Elsewhere but missed Hill Street Blues?

At least you got the Simpsons. Does Saturday Night Live qualify as a TV show?

I forgot about those late-night shows.

SNL of course, though I used to watch that much more when I was a kid than now.
I really liked The Tonight Show during Johnny Carson's era (stayed up to watch him even when in high school) and Late Night with Conan O'Brian (let's see how Conan does with his version of The Tonight Show).

Sounds like you are in my age range. Remember Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.

I don't think I really got the chance to see Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. It's partly because it wasn't carried by any of the stations where I was after it went off the air (no reruns). When I was growing up (1980s era, very early 90s), cable was increasingly popular, but many of us hadn't yet started to subscribe, so we had only a handful of local channels, and when we did finally subscribe to cable, even the cable channels weren't nearly as many as they are now.

On top of that, didn't that show have a relatively brief run?

I liked Cheers (and its spin-off, Frasier) and Entourage, though I don't know if I'd rank them among my favorites; maybe Entourage moreso...

Deadwood on HBO is my all time favorite. Too bad they cancelled it.
HBO has had several great series: True Blood, The Sopranos, Entourage, In Treatment, Curb Your Enthusiasm. And mini-series: John Adams, Angels in America, Generation Kill.

Speaking of great mini-series, lets not forget: Roots.
