I forgot about those late-night shows.

SNL of course, though I used to watch that much more when I was a kid than now.
I really liked The Tonight Show during Johnny Carson's era (stayed up to watch him even when in high school) and Late Night with Conan O'Brian (let's see how Conan does with his version of The Tonight Show).

I liked Tom and Jerry too; funny, especially the ones directed by Chuck Jones. Speaking of animated felines, I also really liked The Pink Panther cartoons.
