favorite equipment???

i like the ivanko weights at my gym, the ones with holes all the way around, so you can pick up and grip easily...

Squat Rack
Bench
Olympic Barbell, EZ Curl Bar, Safety Squat Bar, and Dumbell Handles
Plates
Belt for attaching weight when doing dips and chins

That's all I have and that's all I need.

My squat rack is an old York Barbell unit, my bench is a Body Solid unit, the rest is all generic.

olympic discs seem to be better than the other discs at the gym

i swear they are slighlty heavier than the york ones

im about to buy something from body solid so i hope their stuff is good

thighmaster - really brings the burn

Man, you're crazy. Everyone knows that BOWFLEX kills the Thighmaster!

;)

I like anything that yields weight on the positive and negative. I like to train on really good machines. Some of the Hammer pieces are excellent for chest, shoulders, and lats. The best exercises I ever did for quads and biceps were the Nautilus Duo-Squat and plate-loaded biceps machines.

Free weights are hard to beat, but I think machines get a bad rap sometimes. There are tons of junk machines out there--a lot more shit than average or even good exercises, in fact--but a good machine is hard to beat. I still think if more Nautilus or Hammer pullovers were available in every gym, all of the guys willing to work hard would have at least 20% better lats.

i like invako plates and DB's or weider plates..

power rack doesnt matter what brand, but i like the one i own..

it has the weight stack (150 lbs) for lat pulldowns and a low row pulley. a pullup station, and a dip station.. and a mobile flat/incline bench.

then i have a T - Bar attachment mounted in the ground.. it works real good. then a olympic bench that does flat and incline and has a preacher curl attachment..
then those powerblock DB's, they go up to 125. they work good
but are really big.. and awkward to use.. then i have a leg ext/curl combo thing.. it looks cheap, but works well

then various bars, attachments, and that belt with a chaiin..

and the ALL MIGHTY arm blaster, which i never use... just looks kool :)

its like a small health club that me and my friends work out at in the summer, anyone is invited... and, sometimes, its better than the gym:)
