Fatting question

Hey all,
I heard that when you gain weight (when you get fat) not only you increase the size of your fat cells but also you increase the number of them, but when you lose weight you just decrease the size of the fat cells. Meaning, it's getting harder and harder to lose weight.
Is it true?
Bye.

yeah I've heard that.

Increasing in bodyfat your body produces extra fat cells when the others are full. But when when you diet back down the cells only empy they don't die.

do a search (not on here) for "hyperplasia and adipose tissue".

primarily....pregnancy, poor eating habits/inactivity as a child are the big 2 for it. unless you get really fat, i dont think you'll hit your threshold for hyperplasia.
