Fats

Is there any direct corrolation between body fat percentage and how much fat you take in as long as its within your caloric expendature? I know Atkins people lose weight eating only fat but I'm more saying in a diet that contains carbs.

As long as the fats are mono/poly/unsaturated, then you're fine. It's when you cross the line and get into the saturated and trans fatty acids, where MOST of the problems arise. However, you are correct in assuming total cals throughout the day. Realize that fat contains 9 cals/gram. As long as it fits into your diet, then munch away...

Eat in moderation, no need for overkill

as a person that was on atkins and now ckd
WE DO NOT STRICTLY EAT FAT
it is hi protien moderate fat lo carb

a study recently done by the harvard school of public health for the american association for the study of obesity found that those on atkis generally ate 300 cals more a day than the hypocaloric group which should have equated to an addition 25000 cals and adding 7 pounds over the 12 week period but most lost more weight than the control group

"it does not make sense, does it?" said barbara rolls of penn state university "it violates the laws of thermodynamics"
