fastest results and volume to use

I'm looking to get the fastest results and I'm looking for advice on how much volume to use, specifically on sets and repetitions. I just started training after a two-year break and I would like to regain what I had before. I was very strong before, benching over 300 lbs.

Some consistency at a lower weight then you can start increasing your volume. Don't jump in it too fast.

Bros, I'm a big fan of high volume but only if you can tolerate it. Don't injure yourself.

If you're able to get good recovery, that is the key. Some people recover quicker than others. Also sleep is very important too.

I would aim for 20 to 22 sets per session and maybe 5 to 12 repetitions. That would be some good volume for your situation.
