With Halloween just around the corner - a lot of drug stores that sell false eyelashes & costume accessories have them on sale. I picked up 4 pair of Ardell false eyelashes today for $1.99 each!! I used that brand for my comps this year & liked them. They normally run about $3.99 a pair.

Pick some up for next season!!

Oh Jenny good reminder I saw them and was thinking about picking some up. I dunno how to put them on though. Tips?

I found they stick better without makeup but with mascara & to apply use the handle of a makeup brush...put the glue on the tip of the handle & dab it on the eyelash strip then apply to your eyelid at your lash line.

I'd recommend practicing beforehand also

I always do 2 coats of mascara on both sides my lashes first, then apply glue along the base line of the false lashes, let it dry to be sticky 30-60 sec. Then apply lashes to your lash line{not your eyelid} take a q-tip and gently press lashes to bind with your own. Open your eyes to check placement and make sure glue is not spreading to far up your lashes, keep it at the base. After glue sets push tips of lashes upwards to get a nice bend in them. Never apply mascara to falsh lashes as it will ruin them if you plan on reusing. To take off grab from outer corner with tweezers and pull gently accross and towards opposite corner of eye. If you plan to reuse them store them back on the the curved plastic in the case to keep them in good condition.

Sorry such a long message but I do hair and makeup in a salon and we do so many proms and weddings and most people put them on so badly they look fake! The key is to make them blend so well they could pass for your own! ;)
