I would have posted this earlier but i could't find a soulfly message board until now (why doesn't soulfly.com have one?) Anyway, people dont have to believe this if they dont want but i was at the show and was in the parking lot afterwards. First let me start by saying that Soulfly rocked house ,easily the best set i have ever seen from a soulfly live show. I didnt think i would get more from my money than i did though. Now for the real fireworks. Chris from ill Nino kept saying things on stage that they (ill nino) are not rockstars that ill nino is always down to hang out with their fans and that they dont run on the bus after the show. It all seemed very odd to what other band he was talking about , but nonetheless very apparent that he was talking about a particular band. The show passed and Soulfly took the stage it was a great show (except for some fat 80's metal head guy who threw up right near my gf's feet when Soulfly went into "roots") Anyway i didn't think much again about the whole thing chris from ill nino said. UNTIL! I went by the tour buses to try and meet some of the guys in Soulfly. I met Joe,Marc, and Bobby all great guys. I was talking to Marc about what was in the bookbag. He told me that it was the tape that ill nino uses live with his guitar tracks on them. I laughed, but i even laughed harder when said he was serious that ill nino is the Milli Vanilli of Heavy Metal haha. He said over half of their live show is on tape and that the band is a fraud.I had Marc sign my gf's ticket and we let him go because a whole mass of kids were surrounding him for autographs. We started to hear rumors that ill nino was not doing the rest of the tour, obviously some shit must have went down. About 20 mins later me and my gf were ready to head out and we hear someone screaming, i look to my right and see someone running over to someone else by the ill nino bus and start beating down the guy from ill nino (christian) but i didnt know who it was at the time. I start walking over to see what it was, (of course i was not the only one there) about 20 other fans. I was fucking shocked it was Marc himself laying into christian catching him with shots to the face and stomach, basically he fucked Christian up, until people could pull him off. Marc was bugging the out yelling at all the guys in ill nino (who looked scared shit of Marc btw) saying that noone talks shit about Soulfly, saying that they are a bunch of pussies and he'll fuck anyone of them up. Shortly after that the cops came and told us to leave if you didnt have to be there. So i didnt get to see what happend after that. All i know is aside from being able to play guitar incredibly well Marc Rizzo is a tough fuckin dude. That night will go down in History as one of the best shows i've been to. Oh and i just ordered Marc's instrumental cd from his site. That dude is great. Great Night all together. WOW, go see Soulfly on this tour your crazy if you dont!
