Expired gear

I have a question for any of you, I have a few bottles of expired gear late 2012 and late 2013...Whats the rule of thumb on this...Typically when something is expired you toss it or don't use it....What do you think. Advice..

5-6 years old? i wouldnt touch that

if it was stored correct it will still be okay but lose some potency

gear isn't expensive so why not just toss it and buy more ?

A couple of years is ok... but 6??

As drugs expire, they loose potency. They don't become rancid or anything like that

That being said - 6 years is pretty old. I personally would just throw it out
