How does one go about getting karma and who gives that stuff out. Hows it done?

Click the karma button on any post & a window pops up. There is a button, "What is Karma" that you can read.
But... since you can't give karma & actually give someone 'points' till you've had 100 posts - wait to give it until you've been around for a while & gotten your 100 posts. Since you can't give the same person karma 2X until you've given (I think) 20 other ppl karma... if you give 'The Monster" karma now - he gets NO actual points, but when you've hit 100 posts, you won't be able to give him karma points again till after you've hit 20 other ppl with karma. Not fair IMO.
If someone gives you karma - on your 'Profile' you seen the green dot & whatever they choose to type (typically you leave your name, but don't have to) next to it & the post that they give karma in relatioin to. Grey dot means you get no karmic points (someone with less than 100 posts gave you karma) & I think red dot is BAD karma (takes points away).
