Ever heard your pin going in?

Yesterday I was pinning, and when I pushed it in, I heard a rather audible tearing sound. It didn't hurt any more than normal going in, though about an hour later it got a bit painful (usually when i do get pip, it is the next day, and is fairly mild) Today it feels like any other injection would.
I did swap to a new pin after I filled the syringe, so it wasn't that. Perhaps I got a defect that made it past quality control?
I do currently live in China, so perhaps the quality of the needles isn't as good?
Anyways, just wondering if other people have heard the pin going in before?
I really did not like hearing that sound...I am going to put music on next time I pin.

oh btw, I am using 22g, 1.5 inch.

could be from hitting the same spot too often.. could of hit scar tissue??? that sounds like the most logical explanation i can think of especially considering you are using a thick and long needle.. more damage is being made

i would stay away from that spot until end of cycle.

Actually it was a fresh location. I mostly pin quads, but this time it was glutes. I'm guessing it was a needle that came dull from the factory. I have since ordered some high quality brands of pins (B-D), and I'll use the chinese ones when I fill the syringe. Despite the fact that that shot went really well in terms of feel/pain, I cringe whenever I think of the sound I heard, so I really want to avoid hearing it again.

Sometimes I hear a sound that is like the needle going through sand. Mine is scare tissue. Strange you said it was a new location.

Just avoid the site for a while and keep an eye on it. You should be fine. Yeah I picture the needle coming out looking all bent and zip-zagged! Haha

Today I injected quads, and I listened very carefully to see if I would hear the sound again....nothing! Much preferable than a grating, tearing sound!
I am injecting 2x/week, I think I will stick to my current rotation: one week I will do right quad, then left quad, the next week is right glute, then left glute, then back to quads again the week after and so on. I will try to avoid that particular spot though.

Reading this kind of gave me the willies. I've had some weird inject experiences but I've never heard it go in before. Spouting blood, bruising that traveled down my arm almost to my wrist, spasms....but hearing it go in? I'm glad i'm 50% deaf in my right ear bro

Seriously, just rotate and keep an eye on it. I wouldn't really worry bro.

I once heard something like what your talking about. Hurt like hell! Turns out after all said and done the needle had a burr on it. Now I check before I use. 25ga 1"1/2

I did look at the pin that caused it afterwards, and couldn't detect any difference with my naked eye, but it is still worth doing a quick visual inspection before you stick it in. (just like with a woman...sorry couldn't resist)

Didn't read all the post... But yeah I've injected into my delt and hear a nasty ripping sound... Blood went very where... But that was literally 1/300... No worries... Well at least not for me... It was sore for a little more than usually.. But that's it...
