I read that somewhere and was curious where i might see how quickly certain gear turn into DHT. For example i know tests and primobolan are major ones. BUt i was looking to do some Equipoise, so i want to research that a little more. Any Info

If you do a search on the board you will find a number of experiences about hairloss. I think that I have heard reports of hairloss on almost all of the different roids except possibly deca and anavar. From the posts, I have reports that EQ has caused some hairloss but I think you will find the reports are rare. Since EQ seems to be very popular it would probaby be considered a good bet. Winny, test , proviron seem to be things that you should be cautious about if hairloss is an issue.

Not all steroids can be converted to DHT. Test is converted by action of 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme that reduces the 4,5-double bond of test to make DHT. Not all steroids even have a 4,5-double bond to be reduced. Primo does not have such a double bond and can not be reduced to a DHT derivative. Eq does have a 4,5-double bond that can be reduced but it also hs a 1,2 double bond which can not be reduced so 5-AR will convert EQ into 1-test to some degree but EQ can not be reduced all the way down to DHT. Nandrolone does have the required 4,5-double bond and can be reduced to dihydronandrolone (DHN) but by some quirk, DHN is not a potent androgen and is, in fact, less androgenic than deca itself. DHN will not cause hairloss.

Incidently, it is the androgenicity of any particular steroid which is responsible for causing hairloss. That is, hairloss is an androgenic side effect. DHT causes it because it is 10 times more androgenic than test itself. All steroids have an androgenic component but some are more androgenic than others. Deca is considered to not be very androgenic (less androgenic than test). Primo is also not very androgenic. Tren, on the other hand, is 3 times more androgenic than test. Eq is not considered to be a potent androgen I think.

Spidey: Well if i havea history of hairloss in my family and was looking for a product with minimal side effects, such as EQ. What else will give small but quality gains without inducing hairloss, infertility and acne. Granted i know we cant always get what we want, so some might have a small possobility but i was wondering which oens i may look into al ittle more. I am not a fan of primo from what i heard. I heard minxed reviews about fina also. please respind thanks

If you are that concerned with hairloss, there are really only a few substances with minimal conversion to DHT: var, primo and maybe deca. But honestly, if hair loss is that big of an issue, you should not do steroids. Everyone reacts differently to different compounds, some may hit you hard or not at all.

it isnt so much hairloss that i am afraid of.. its lasting side effects in general. ii mean isnt everypone worried to a certain degree? I just am looking for the safest with the best intrests for me. I have plenty opf time before i actually even start my cycle.

I liked your post Spidey. JohnnyT the jury is still out on Primo and hairloss. Some say it is very harsh on the hairline. Overall though I would not recomend Primo to anyone because Schering is not producing it anymore and 99% of the stuff on the market is fake. Some of the fakes are filled with test. Taking test and not knowing SUCKS!

Equipoise overall tends to be one of the agents with the fewest side affects.

It's why I am a big fan. So, if you're looking for the "lesser evil" sort of thing. Yes, your answer is EQ... IMHO.

why dont you take propecia with the roids as this will block the dht conversion?
