Ephedra is now banned

I have enough NYC to last a lifetime. I stocked up for a looong time. I'm not keen on ephedra for myself but it's a personal choice to use it and it's stupid that it's getting pulled.

Say thank you to your caring govt. They know better than you what's good or wrong. Republicans right ? lol......

Time to stock up... or ::gasp:: go back on clen... I hate clen....

wow, I love America, thats okay the new xenadrine efx really gives me the weight loss and energy I need, especially without the nasty side effects of ephidrine, I lost 75 lbs

actually I like clen better, so it really doesnt effect me

Whether you personally like or use ephedra, you need to take action, write letters, etc. We cannot let this keep happening.

Please. Help Take a stand. I just wrote Pres. Bush an email. and am working on the Senators. Though I am in NY, so like Hillary will really care.

Was this ban part of the larger supplemant ban? If so, Hillary Clinton and Diane Feinstein co-sponsored the bill.

I just went and ordered 3 bottles. May be getting some more later too. Even if you use clen, nothing beats alternating with an ECA stack on the off weeks.

The best I can tell is that is a seperate Administrative action, not a congressional one. For those of you not familar with the US Administrative Agency form of government, wise up, this is where most of the decisions are made. Congress passes a nice vague authorization and then the FDA, DEA, or some other agency promulgates rules pursuant to the congressional grant of authority. Since these are not laws per se, you cant challenge them directly in a court until you exhaust remedies with the agency themselves. Then the court will frequently defer to the agency and your screwed - a new law that limits your rights and it was never even passed by congress or approved of by the president. Scary huh?

This is, sadly, nothing new.

The best example in history is the FCC - they can't pass laws, but they can "not approve your new license" to own and operate a station.

It's "censorship by displeasure" in the undefinable and nonsense name of "public interest".

What is public interest you ask? No one knows, since the public is nothing more than individuals with differeing opinions and interests.

This is the same nonsense - the FDA is effectively legislating.

Courts have tried to imposea vague "reasonable person" standard, but that is nonsense too.

We've found away to get AS, we'll find a way to get this too.

The FDA did it again... They have basically given power to the black market. All because a few irresponsible fat fucks died.

How many people have died from aspirin? I am 110% sure it is far more than ephedra.

nevermind, I found a site that said it was indeed banned

According to the government website, manufacturers and suppliers have 60 days in which they must stop selling it.

Look at the email i just got from the VP:

Thank you for emailing Vice President Cheney. Your ideas and comments are very
important to him.

Unfortunately, because of the large volume of email received, the Vice
President cannot personally respond to each message. However, the White House
staff considers and reports citizen ideas and concerns.

Again, thank you for your email. Your interest in the work of Vice President
Cheney and the administration is appreciated.

Sincerely,
The White House Office of E-Correspondence

You'd think that when one considers all the problems in our country and the world in general-- ephedra wouldn't rate high enough to even get this much attention. It's pretty pathetic.

There are roughly 3 million dosage units of ephedra containing products manufactured per year. Roughly nine million dosage units of Tylenol are manufactured per year. Over the past nine years ephedra has been implicated in 100 deaths. Tylenol is implicated in over 400 deaths PER year. Is ephedra really a major health concern????

Not at all... it is a concern for the manufacturers of adipex and every other fat loss drug that paid their blood money to the FDA. So now the FDA is cracking down on the only supplement that really works to appease their paying constituents.

I'm sure companies are gonna love the surge in sales over the next couple months....this really sucks ass. Time to stock up on my pills and drinks (sigh)

Does the ban apply to only Ephedra or Ephedra & Ephedrine HCL?

Time to start stockin up. There are plenty of ways:
- Online (small companys making generic Xenadrine, etc.)
- Conv. Stores (arabz be known for sellin Mini Thins & shit)

You can also get real Ephedrine HCL from Pumpuii Canada other sites. Also, Yohimbine HCL is illegal in Canada, so you could work out some trades or buys with some Canadian bros.

OSHA is a prime example of this. Congress authorizes the formation of this agency and OSHA writes the regulations which every business in the US must abide by. So, we get numerous wastes of money, such as the public toilet bowls that are separated in the front, handicap handles which must be "x" number of inches above the ground, etc.

We are a socialist state and very few even know what that implies.

"Other recent studies have also confirmed that ephedra use raises blood pressure and otherwise stresses the circulatory system, effects that have been conclusively linked to significant and substantial adverse health effects like heart problems and strokes."
I guess alcohol and tobacco products are next on their list. Saturated fats too.
