pOink- my friend you will never know how euphoric i am from your response, it not only indicates that you are a man with an open mind, but it also shows how much you are aware of history, and i have the utmost respect for you especially after taking the time to write your neat response. First of all i had no dought what so ever that you bear any grudge against islam as scripture and religion, it is merely and sadly at the people doing all nasty and low actions in the name of islam, allah and mohammed. the part of history you mentioned proves my point and yours clearly, which is an example of how people (in charge) twisted islam into a barbaric and brutal and ugly meaning, and as an additional info regarding the word islam, the meaning of islam in arabic is peace, so how could these blind followers not just read the holy book, instead just take a few minutes and think about the name of this religion, just as the prophetics before, Moses, Jesus, they have all pleaded for peace and Mohammed is no different, it makes sense to me.

Every Christian should be able to understand what is happening with Islam. Because the same thing happened to Catholicism. All non Catholic Christian religions exist today because of the brutality of Rome that is now thankfully gone.
