Eggs ???

Try to limit the amount of yolks you eat. Try sticking with mainly the whites. Some yolk is good. Hardboiled is good just pick out the yolks. As far as how many, well the only thing that would really restrict that would be the amount of eggs consumed with yolks. If you just eating whites you can eat pretty much as much as you need to to reach you daily calorie and protein needs. Atlthough eating a lot may result in some stomach discomfort but everyone is different. Its like 24 cals and 3.5g of protiein in an egg white. Hope this helps.

want to get big try eating 20-30 a week no yoke maybe a few yokes but here we can buy a case of eag whites for about 30 bucks comes in a milk carton frozen takes 3 days to though i can see if they have a web site for ya hun

I eat eggs like there no tommorow. 5 for breakfast everyday, and maybe 5 or 6 hardboiled throughout the rest of the day.

Ever try egg beaters? YUCH! But they do make a Southwestern flavor that kinda masks the taste. Give me a good ole omlett ANYDAY!

You get protein, amino acids and healthy fats every time they crack a yolk. These vital substances boost not only your heart health, but also your musculature, joints and bones, and even mental functioning.

And don't be lulled by the recent trend in the media that seems to paint eggs in a more positive light - the meat-hating mainstream still thinks eggs are the dregs. They've just been forced by THE FACTS to give them a certain amount of positive ink. Facts like this latest finding from the Yale Prevention Research Center in Connecticut.

According to a recent Reuters Health article, a 6-week study of 49 adults showed that consuming 2 eggs daily does not adversely effect either cholesterol levels (completely misunderstood, by the way - but that's another Dose) or endothelial functioning, which is widely regarded as an early sign of arterial disease and an indicator of future heart risk. This finding is significant in that it DOUBLES the American Heart Association's recent blessing to a one-egg-a-day diet for good heart health.

1.The University of Washington study which showed that adding 2 daily eggs to the diet recommended by the National Cholesterol Program had no effect on plasma LDL (consider by the mainstream to be bad cholesterol) - even among those with elevated LDL

A European study of 21,000 men which concluded that dietary cholesterol was unassociated with heart disease risk

A large body of epidemiological research (over 117,000 subjects, in fact) showing that overall adjusted risk for heart disease was identical whether participants ate no eggs at all or seven or more per week

Agreed. The whole eggs/cholesterol issue has been blown way out of proportion. I'm guessing it has something to do with the food industry wanting you to buy more processed foods rather than natural. My grandfather got married, had kids in his 40's, never worked out and ate 4 eggs a day along with cheese and wine. Never had an ounce of bodyfat on him either. Lived to be 91...
