My coworker/training buddy/partner in crime, S., who didnt even place at BodyRock, won her class AND the Overall Figure !!! She just got back to the gym and was so pumped up she damn near beat me over the head with her trophy!!!

A HUGE congrats to you all: your strength and determination is beyond inspiring!

If i had a hat, it would be off with a flourish as I bow to you all.

How funny how small the world really is, eh?

We are both trainers in the same Gym and share a mountain of work together. Most of our clients end up being at the same times, so its kind of a constant 'high-five' atmosphere here. REALLY great place to work, and a lot of that is because we get to work together. She and D., just finished doing legs about 15 minutes ago, i was gonna join them for sushi but i have a hella day tomorrow so its early to bed for this bald boy...

Her fiance, D., did you meet him? Really a wonderful guy, VERY Big Boy, he is going to help me out a bit with what MAY, i repeat MAY be my first contest prep for a show this fall....... but that is totally undecided at this point and will have much discussion with Mrs. G. before any real plans are made on that..

I finally got to meet D for the first time also on Saturday - SUCH a nice guy!! He IS a force, much like S...I actually told him I thought he was competing based on his size....

... and he is hella lean AND lifetime drug free: very very cool. I really do give thanks everyday to have friends like these, serious competitors, seriously giving and a more honest and caring group of people you not likely to meet.

Blessed beyond my worth i tell ya, and to top it all off all i need to do to set any negative straight is take one quick look at a pic of Mrs. G and the cheflings and i know i hit the pot of gold.

Went to the NPC East Coast Classic today & worked my butt off - for FREE!! The highlight of my day was meeting up with the varied people I knew, who never fail to remind me of WHY I love this sport!!

Got to meet with Ischia and Bluehen.....Ischia is a doll!! She is Super Gorgeous in person, such a friendly, nice person and she just looked great on stage.....Beautiful suits!! She has a good stage presence and I think she will go far onstage.....

Bluehen - WOW!! Talk about wings...jeez!! They called for Front Lat spread & his back seemed to just unfold and spread out......He's a natural onstage, really....I got to kiss him on the cheek handing him a trophy... *blush*

I remember handing out some trophies, but I'm sorry to say I can't remember the placings....I was a bit stressed out backstage since I got unexpectedly put in CHARGE of all the trophies, labelling, unpacking, assembling, arranging, etc etc.....I know some hardware was given out tho

Thanks for the compliments Jen. It was great meeting you, too bad you had so much going on backstage. Ischia looked great. We have somegood digital pics our friends took so hopefully we will have some soon. Six more days untill the X-Cal and then we can eat!
