EEEK! Somebody help! Will any of these delay periods?

Need to know if any of these compounds will delay periods (wife is late over a week, but hasn't been very regular lately anyway [although she has at least spotted at period time]); also, need to know if any of these will render a false positive or negative on home pregnancy tests/Quert(sp?) tests at the doctor... She's not on cycle (she finished her last cycle of oxandrolone in March.)

All of these substances were newly started within the last month or so...

Substances:
Green tea extract: ~1000 mg of polyphenols/day
Ephedrine HCL: 12.5 mg/day (~3 - 4 days/wk)
Yohimbine HCL: ~ 20 mg/day

Also, today was first day of thiotic acid (ALA); only one dose given @ 500 mg; will be halting on all supplements until doctor's test comes back...

P.S. She is also on the pill, Yasmin.
P.P.S. We've already taken two home tests, both negative, about to take a third because we don't want to wait all weekend to get results for the one we hav scheduled with the doctor on Monday.

Thanks for the help!

Don't know about the substance but if she is over a week late and had had two negative home preg tests then I would say the chances of her being pregnant are slim to none. I did a home test when I was two days late and it was INSTANT positive response - didn't even have to wait the amount of time the box said. The home tests are almost as accurate as the docs from what I understand so relax and enjoy your weekend. I'm sure everything is fine.

Thanks for your response! My rational mind knows that there's little chance for two of these to fail, just trying to rule out possibilities... Not sure I'm ready for a 3rd little one!

I guess I'm partly haunted by the fact that a couple years ago, one of them gave a false positive and we freaked... lol...

Think it's time for me to get *gulp* snipped...

I can relate - the doctors office mixed up the urine samples one time and gave me a false positive.....
My husband did get snipped after that

Egads! I'm terrified of this thought... lol... How was it for him?

My husband did it a few years ago. Everything's still in working order, just shooting blanks. Did it on a Friday, iced with frozen peas a day or two, back at work on Monday. No regrets.

I don't see anything in there that would cause it and I've taken plenty of all that (not the ox). Could just be nothing--most women who've had a scare often cause further delay by worrying. In my experience though, seeing a negative usually relaxes you enough that in a day or two--everything's going on like normal.

A girlfriend of mine uses this concoction for bc--6 grams of Vit C (2g/3x's a day) for 3 days--as soon after unprotected sex or immediately upon suspecting pregnancy. Although works best if you take when your period is due or like in the next week. Supposedly (I've never tried any of this!) forms acid on the wall of the womb which prevents the egg from attaching itself.

Wish I could tell you for sure--since only three day dose, don't think it would harm her but if she's pregnant????

Btw--I took Yasmin for 6 months and did not experience anything like this. I know it's kind of new so she may want to do a search for someone else's experience with it.

His went fine, it took almost two hours as they had trouble finding one of the tubes and he walked pretty softly for a couple of days but other than that no problems. The important thing is to do EXACTLY what the doctor tells you to otherwise you will swell up to the size of softballs.
