Ed Coan and Muscle and Fitness?

Exodus

did anyone see the latest issue of muscle and fitness......(the one with a black and white photo of arnold on the cover)

they have Ed Coan in it talking about how his power workouts are better than those pump and make you feel good workouts...................thats all muscle and fitness print!!!!

am i crazy or is this like a black panther speech being put right in the middle of a community kkk magizine?

just wondering if im alone on this one

Your right. Why Muscle n fitness would print it is weird. But i am sure his workouts are better! He does bodybuilding type workouts too. I did read that. Only some times when he is off season for awhile. maybe he means those?

His workouts look a lot like bb workouts. He usually just starts them with high sets and low reps of one of the big three and then goes onto to finish the workout almost in a bb type manner.

I'm just happy that a real lifter like Ed got put in a non powerlifting magazine. Gives some extra exposure to the sport.

I agree with Scotsman. It is great publicity for our sport.

The article shows that our sport is growing and companies are taking notice. This is a good thing.

Guys,
It's not the first time Eddy has been in M&F. He was the first (and still only I believe) powerlifter to have had a Weider contract back in the 80s.

I don't remember any other powerlifting article ever being as big as this one though. Usually the powerlifting articles are not that spiced up by the designers. Usually a 1 or 2 pager with a couple little pics.

the thing that impressed me the most was the 405lb behind the neck press............... wow

eddie

I see Ed in the gym, (Quads) at least once a week. 2 things those pictures are old as hell and probably airbrushed all to hell. sorry Ed , but you look like your own kid brother in those pics. also, I've known Eddie for like 15 years and I've never seen him in a pair of spandex. cant believe they got him in those. Now for all of you who think I'm flaming him, wrong! Just alittle good natured ball bustin'.

I can't find this anywhere. What month was it?
I flipped through a muscle and fitness (November 2001) with Arnold on the cover but no article authored by Coan?

Can someone scan the cover or article?
