Can someone please cite a reference (not in vitro or animal stuff, human only) that shows that:

1) EPH inhibits fat loss in site specific areas while increasing it in others.

2) EPH has a high affinity for alpha-receptors

ephedrine itself does not bind to the alpha2, however it increases NE in the synapse. Ne binds to A2 which in A2 rich sites leads to downregulation of NE production inhibiting fat loss (this does not occur in non A2 rich tissue- )
