I hadn't thought too much of it until our ER closed for a morning last week after a suspected case presented. It ended up not being ebola but made me think I needed to learn a little more....which I still haven't really done.

I wish someone would explain a little more what an outbreak on this continent might look like.

Like, I want to know if it Would it spread as quickly here. Right now it doubles like, every 15 days. The ROI is something like 2.5-3.5 right now. Would the ROI decrease in an outbreak over here? The CDC says that if it's not contained that it would be 1.5 million by January, and those numbers doubling every 2 weeks get doomsy.
