Corn is one of the rare high-carb veggies. Carrots are another one. Most vegetables you can eat as much as you want of and only end up eating 50 calories or so, but you have to watch how much you are eating with corn and carrots.
Corn YUM. I just had corn bread and Boston baked beans for dinner. Both recipes were straight from Bev Francis' Power Bodybuilding book, so it's gotta be good for ya! I expect things will be moving nicely by morning.........I've never seen whole corn look any different going out than when it went in so I don't think corn on the cob counts as carbs! Enjoy.
Indeed I did enjoy my corn on the cob.."boiled with a bit of salt and water" my 5 year old loves it, corn, green beans and peas are the only veggies she will eat.
So I went home last night and cooked liver and corn on the cob...mmmmmm
"NO" I am not pregnant...if you guys are relating liver with pregnant women...
It just that I need something different with lots of iron and protein...
Any ideas and recipe will be appreciated..
MS.. I will look into the "power bodybiulding book" for some recepies....I am one of those rear species that really enjoy cooking...
