Early vs. Late night??

Who wakes up early and puts in a heavy session? I do! I rise up at about 7am and kick my bitch and tell her open the blinds. Pop up and whip up some oatmeal with an energy/protein bar and a glass of juice. Walk outside grab the paper and read a couple of pages with a shot of expresso. Aww the fucking Dolphins lost again....Pussy's! Bet if they all pinned eachother b4 next week they'd win.

Lucky for me, my house has an guest house with a sick gym. So, I head out back with my ipod and night full of evil dreams on my mind. Why the fuck I such fucked up dreams, I don't know. I BLAME NEED2 for putting me onto custom capsule mega sleep aid. Mother fucker lol.

So, by 8 oclock I'm ticking enough to get the BEST possible workout I can in the morning. I ALWAYS do a superset on whatever part im doing with high volume & lower weight to get the blood flowing. By song 3, I'm trying to break necks. I LOVE THE MORNING!! I compare working out in the morning to FUCKING a hot ass women at night and daydreaming all day at work. Instead, you KICKED ASS in the morning and get to recollect till evening.

I started this thread to see what the other bros prefer. Night Owl or Early bird????

night owl here i cant wake up and workout it suxs i feel like shit
 
night owl here too. im not a person to fuck with in the morning. thank god i get in a better mood as the day goes on
 
I hit the gym late night when there are no girls for distractions, and all the weights are free, or else, not very busy.
 
Up at 4:30AM. 2 Very strong cups of coffee. Pre-workout supps, etc.
Bust it from 5AM to 6AM. Eat breakfast at 6:30.
Shit, showered and shaved by 7-7:30 AM. Bring on the world MF!
Go to bed about 10PM.
 
Up at 4:30 oatmeal,1 slice whole wheat toast.Max Muscle Full Blown Extreme at the gym at 5:00-6:30ish home post workout protein shake,multi vit,EFA's (thanks to tat) shower off to work a 10-11 hr day in bed by 9:30-10:00 no later or I feel like shi- in the morning.
 
funny to read this thread--just came home from work and just too tired...trying to decide if I can get my ass out of bed and lift in the am....stay tuned

I'm loving this thread. 4:30 am is early, up before the drug dealers! I love it though. I like to see the rest though boys.

They just had a study of people with sleep disorders and people with common problematic symptoms(depression, anxiety, lethargicness, ADD, ect...) and they say there was actually a correlation between the two. Not too much or too few hours of sleep. Not rocket science but if you think about it, one who gets rest can releive stress and anxiety throughout the day, which in turn, keeps you from tossing and turning at night. ONe big cycle of effectiveness of rest.
 
made the best progress doing morning sessions.Felt that I could eat all day and replenish my body .
But I am a night owl and lift at night sometime between 7-9 to still allow a pwo meal and another at 12 before bed.

I can do the morning but my gym is infested with old farts at 6-8 am that lurk around the machines at me.Like I am some kinda steroid freak.I grunt ,scream,yell,fart make all kinda noises and I think it might be a little to much for them to handle.

I take that back one old lady is pretty cool she is like 80 and really nice reminds me of my grandmother before she passed.
 
Early Is best, get a bad ass work out and I will feel pumped to the end of the day. Makes me feel that the day cant dish out nouthing that I cant handle. :evil:
 
i have an old espresso machine so i am going to stoke it up and to give it a go wed a.m.--if i get my ass off this board and get to bed

Another reason for mornings is its all old farts so they are all on the old fart machines mainly cardio so i have the rest to myself if i go in the evening a bunch of kids talking and walking around like they weight 220 when they really weight 120 WET anyway just takes to long to get the workout done.

I love hitting the gym like a beast early in the morning. But I'm in the army so every morning I have to go running at 6:30 with my company. I fucking hate that shit cuz then I gota go get a real workout after work. So I usually get to the gym about 6 or 6:30. But Im out the army in like 80 days from then on its am sessions for this guy.
 
I go at night around 9:00 or 9:30p.m. I enjoy the feeling a.m. workouts give you for the rest of the day, but I hate getting up 4:30a.m. to work out. I have to be at work by 6:30a.m. and its a 20 minute drive to work.
