Early NCAA National Championship Prediction

Aright I'm going out on a limb here, but my early football prediction for the national championship will be Miami vs. Tennessee. With Tennessee on top in a close one 24 - 20.

It's a long shot but based on the returning talent and recruiting I think these two teams have the best chance.

What's your prediction?

Florida St. is my favorite also, but I think they have a little rebuilding to do even though they can build faster than anyone. Miami and Tennessee seem to have the most returning starters and were both good last year but were missing talent at a few key positions. Both teams didn't have the top two recruiting classes in the nation, but they were still up there in the top ten. So I think they'll both have a shot at the national championship.

miami will take it inside knowledge trust me. texas is a good call they will finish top 5 def. tennesse win it all no not this year, fsu will not win it all this is their off year but they will still be high and still take the acc

My alma mater, the Huskers, will take it all this year. Florida vs Nebraska rematch (with pretty much the same score as the last time, 62-????)

Just to add, Miami wasn't missing a single thing last year. They were better last year then they are gonna be this year, but even saying that, they will still win it all this year. Tennessee will be good, but won't get passed Florida in the swamp. Like usual. I go to UT and im a realist, it wont happen. Look for them next year though, a lot of upperclassmen and maturity returning. Then they play miami during the season and its on hardcore. I go to ut, but im a diehard canes fan. Go canes

FSU will win it all this year. Sleeper team, sounds funny saying that but we're going to win it this year. And once we get past this "rebuilding" shit, we have the title for the next 4 years. Look at our players.

I'm gonna stick to what I've been saying for a couple of months now, come January it's gonna be Texas and Florida in Pasadena. Tenn. won't get past UF this year in the swamp, FSU in the swamp will be a good one as always but I believe we(UF) have the advantage this year with the returning starters and such. The only other team that I could see making a run for it would be Miami, but they'd have to get past FSU in Tally., and that's a real possibility. I'd like to see a UF-Miami rematch in pasadena but I still believe the polls will show Texas as the # 2 team when it's all said and done.

On a side note--I really don't like being the preseason #1...I mean, it's not like we wouldn't have gotten there anyway after we won out, just look at the strength of our schedule.

Let me start off by saying that i'm a die hard nole fan. Now to the real shit. This year is too close to call, there is no real front runner. Sure texas looks good, but they have a tough ass conference. There are atleast 2 or 3 teams that could take them down on any given weekend. Then you have Miami, sure they return a hell of alot of starters but it's also the first year with a new head coach(could be a big deal, then again could not) but they also have to play the noles in tally, not an easy thing to do, if i'm not mistaken the last time was 52 games ago? Then you have the ever so hated gators. They have a hell of alot of talent, but they also play in a difficult conference. On any given weekend almost any team in the SEC could take the gators down. So after i rambeled for way to long, my prediction is no one!!! Anyone could beat anyone on any weekend, like the old addage goes: that's why they play the games.
