Ok...when I get up in the mornings I do not feel like eating. Actually...I always feel a little sick. Nope...not pregnant:) I always lift in the mornings...about an hour and a half after I arise. I usually only get in a cup of yogurt and a glass of oj before I train. It is hard to get it down. I feel starving sometimes..but just can't eat. As the day goes on...I can eat more and more and more...till close to bed time when I lose my appetite again. Strange.

Any suggestions?

Most people are not hungry in the morning....except me...thats the only thing that gets me up:) But yogurt would make me gag anytime of the day. So why not switch to something that will be more palate pleasing? Sometimes I eat chicken and rice for breakfast. Or a protein shake.....or some peanut butter....I know you love the peanut butter.

Plus having yogurt with acidic oj, would make me feel more nauseous.

I feel like puking every morning when I arise for about 2 hours...then I am hungry. I need to train not long after I get up so yogurt just tastes good. I need some prot when I get up...I know...but the thought of food just turns my stomach.

Any other ideas fellas?

I'm like you, nauseous first thing in the morning (not pregnant either :) ) - i get right out of bed and go train if I can, and by the time I get home I'm ravenous, and eat some oatmeal (I put cinnamon in it, this might help you as it (cinn) is a stomach settler) and have a protein shake with vanilla, banana, and flaxseed oil in it. Then I'm ok for at least an hour :D
I can't work out with food in my stomach

If you're not eating before you lift, that's why you're feeling sick....your body will only use so much glycogen at one time and when it's all used up then you get that sick feeling......breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it reverses the catabolic effects of sleep. If you don't eat then there will be no reversing....if you get my point. since you are awake for 1.5 hours before you train, eat when you get up, wait 1.5 hours.....then train, you'll have plenty of energy.

bigmag: I think that you are not understanding what I am saying. I feel fine in my workouts. I just feel sick every single morning when I wake up. Been going on now for about a month or so. Bad dreams, sweats, nightmares, and when I wake up...I always feel sick. I'm always ok enough to get in some yogurt, milk, and oj before my workout.

I know what you are saying bro. Every morning I wake up feeling like Im going to puke all over the floor but yet, my stomach feels hungry. It is a weird feeling. The people that said eat chicken, rice, and peanut butter must not have this problem. I usally force down a protein shake and a bowl of oatmeal. About an hour later I am fine though. If anybody else knows what this is please let me know.

sorry bro....I misunderstood you. In that case....I dont' know what to tell you, just try to eat what you can so you'll have plenty fuel to burn during your workout....hope everything works out for you bro.
